TPL Life And Mobilink Bank Expand Partnership For Shariah-Compliant Takaful Solutions

TPL Life Insurance Limited has expanded its strategic partnership with Mobilink Microfinance Bank Limited through an agreement focused on introducing Unit-Linked Takaful Plans and facilitating the conversion of existing insurance products into Shariah-compliant solutions. The collaboration will provide Mobilink Bank customers with investment-linked protection products structured around Islamic financial principles, broadening the range of financial protection options available through the bank.

Under the expanded partnership, TPL Life will work with Mobilink Bank to offer Unit-Linked Takaful Plans that combine financial protection with investment-linked features within a Shariah-compliant framework. The agreement will also facilitate the conversion of existing insurance products into solutions designed to comply with Shariah principles, giving customers additional options for financial protection and planning.

The collaboration is expected to expand access to insurance and Takaful products while supporting greater financial inclusion across Pakistan. Mobilink Bank’s customer base will provide a distribution platform for TPL Life’s protection and Takaful offerings, allowing the companies to make Shariah-compliant financial protection products more accessible to customers seeking alternatives aligned with Islamic financial principles.

The partnership builds further on the existing relationship between TPL Life and Mobilink Bank, with the latest agreement broadening the scope of their collaboration. The introduction of investment-linked Takaful products provides an additional avenue for customers to access financial protection while also incorporating investment-linked features within a Shariah-compliant structure.

TPL Life said the initiative reflects its continued focus on developing customer-focused insurance and Takaful solutions and increasing access to financial protection. The company will continue to keep shareholders informed of material developments in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
