Samba Bank Says Card Data Fully Secure

In the wake of recent cyberattacks on banks

KARACHI:Samba Bank Limited has informed its customers and stakeholders in the wake of recent events, whereby debit or credit card data of different banks has purportedly been hacked and some transactions have been made by using this stolen card data. “We want to assure our customers that Samba Bank Limited’s card data is fully secured and no fraudulent transaction has taken place on any of its customers’ cards. However, we have further strengthened our valued customers’ data security and have taken additional precautionary measures for safeguarding cards’ data in the future as well in view of the State Bank of Pakistan’s instructions,” it said.
