Meezan Bank Partners With Mercantile Pakistan To Offer Shariah Compliant Financing For Selected Apple Products

Meezan Bank has partnered with Mercantile Pakistan, Apple’s authorised distributor in Pakistan, to provide Shariah-compliant financing for selected Apple products. Under the collaboration, eligible Meezan Bank employees and customers of the bank’s Payroll Partners can purchase selected Apple devices through the Consumer Ease Durable Financing facility. The partnership brings together Mercantile Pakistan’s network of authorised resellers and Meezan Bank’s Islamic financing offering, providing eligible customers with a financing option for Apple products while following the bank’s Shariah-compliant financing framework.

Through the Consumer Ease Durable Financing facility, eligible customers can access financing for selected Apple products available through Mercantile Pakistan’s authorised reseller network. The facility is intended to provide customers with an alternative to making the full purchase payment upfront, subject to the bank’s applicable financing terms and eligibility requirements. The arrangement also connects Meezan Bank’s payroll customer base with Mercantile Pakistan’s distribution network, giving eligible employees and Payroll Partner customers access to selected Apple products through a structured financing facility.

The partnership reflects the use of consumer financing products to facilitate purchases of technology and electronic devices. For Meezan Bank, the collaboration extends its Consumer Ease offering to selected Apple products while maintaining its Shariah-compliant financing model. For Mercantile Pakistan, the arrangement provides another financing channel for customers seeking Apple products through authorised retail outlets. The companies have positioned the collaboration around customer choice and convenience, with financing available for products covered under the arrangement.

The collaboration adds Apple products to the range of consumer purchases that eligible Meezan Bank customers can finance through the Consumer Ease Durable Financing facility. Customers who meet the relevant eligibility criteria can use the facility to access selected products through Mercantile Pakistan’s authorised reseller network. The partnership therefore combines Islamic consumer financing with an established technology distribution network, giving eligible employees and Payroll Partner customers another option for purchasing selected Apple devices.
