With a consistent 4.5-star rating on the Google Play Store and over 20.8 million monthly users, SIMOSA took home two key awards: Best Consumer Mobile Service and the Gamification Award.
The Best Consumer Mobile Service award celebrates SIMOSA’s evolution into a lifestyle and utility platform that now serves the entire smartphone user base in Pakistan, not just Jazz customers. The Gamification Award acknowledged the platform’s inventive use of digital mechanics—daily reward streaks, swipeable ecommerce cards, and gamified learning modules—that actively engage users while enabling monetization through in-app advertising and features like streak-skipping.
Meanwhile, Tamasha, Jazz’s OTT entertainment platform, was awarded Best Online Streaming Platform for the third consecutive year. This continued recognition reflects Tamasha’s role in shaping digital entertainment standards in Pakistan. With this innovation, more than 535,000 merchants and small business owners in Pakistan can now accept payments from contactless cards or smartphones—without the need for traditional POS systems.
