EXIM Bank Selects AutoSoft Dynamics For Next-Generation Core Banking System Transformation Project

EXIM Bank of Pakistan has onboarded AutoSoft Dynamics to implement a next-generation Core Banking System aimed at supporting the bank’s evolving operational, regulatory and business requirements. The engagement marks a major step in the bank’s digital transformation journey and is intended to modernize its technology infrastructure for export finance and trade-related services.

Under the agreement, AutoSoft Dynamics will provide EXIM Bank with a scalable and Shariah-compliant technology foundation aligned with the institution’s role in supporting Pakistan’s trade, exports and economic growth. The new core banking platform is expected to enhance operational capabilities while providing a technology base suited to the bank’s changing requirements.

EXIM Bank President and CEO Shahbaz Hussain Syed said the implementation will contribute to operational resilience, service capabilities and governance while helping the institution respond to the changing needs of exporters and other stakeholders. The project forms part of broader efforts to modernize Pakistan’s financial sector through technology-driven banking infrastructure.

AutoSoft Dynamics CEO Bilal Mahmood said the partnership reflects growing confidence in locally developed enterprise banking systems capable of supporting institutions of national importance. The company brings nearly six decades of local and regional banking technology experience to the project, alongside global expertise through its parent operating group.

The collaboration highlights the growing role of digital transformation in Pakistan’s banking sector, particularly as financial institutions modernize core systems to improve efficiency, governance and service delivery. For EXIM Bank, the new platform is expected to provide a stronger technological foundation for its mandate of supporting Pakistan’s exporters and trade ecosystem.
