Easypaisa Digital Bank Reports PKR 8.26 Billion Profit Before Tax In Strong H1 2026 Financial Performance

easypaisa digital bank has reported a strong financial performance for the first half of 2026, recording a Profit Before Tax (PBT) of PKR 8.26 billion. The result represents a 2.27-fold increase compared with the bank’s PBT during the same period in 2025, highlighting significant growth in its financial performance during the first six months of the year.

The bank attributed the performance to continued momentum across its core business streams, alongside sustained customer and partner engagement. The results come as easypaisa continues to expand its digital banking operations and invest in technology, talent and digital financial services aimed at increasing access to formal financial products.

The strong H1 performance also reflects the growing scale of digital banking in Pakistan, where mobile-based financial services are becoming increasingly important for payments, transfers, savings and other banking needs. Easypaisa has continued to focus on providing affordable and accessible digital financial services as it expands its customer base and strengthens its position in the country’s digital banking sector.

The bank said it will continue investing in digital innovation and technology while focusing on financial inclusion and broader access to banking services. The H1 2026 results provide further evidence of the growing contribution of digital financial institutions to Pakistan’s banking and fintech ecosystem.
