JazzCash and Firhaj Footwear Partner to Launch Nationwide BNPL Services Through QR and PGW Channels

JazzCash and Firhaj Footwear have entered into a strategic partnership to introduce Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) services across Pakistan, marking a significant step forward for digital payments and consumer financing in the country. The collaboration brings flexible payment options to customers of Firhaj Footwear, the company operating leading retail brands including Hush Puppies Pakistan, One Degree, and Wewear. With the launch of BNPL through QR payments and the JazzCash payment gateway (PGW), shoppers will gain greater control over their spending while enjoying a more convenient and digitally enabled purchase experience.

The agreement between the two organizations was formalized in the presence of Muhammad Mudassir Ajmal, Chief Commercial Officer of Firhaj Footwear, and Umair Ali Khan, Head of Enterprise at JazzCash. They were joined by Suhail Jan, Head of Channels at JazzCash, and Aamir Aftab, Chief Product Officer at JazzCash, who collectively emphasized the importance of this initiative in supporting Pakistan’s rapidly evolving digital commerce ecosystem.

Through this partnership, Firhaj Footwear customers will be able to use JazzCash’s BNPL service both in-store via QR codes and online via the JazzCash payment gateway. This dual-channel availability ensures that consumers across the country—whether shopping physically at retail locations or browsing online—can access installment-based payment options that reduce upfront financial burden. The BNPL model has emerged as one of the fastest-growing digital financial tools globally, and its introduction through major retail brands in Pakistan reflects rising demand for more flexible and inclusive payment solutions.

JazzCash, already recognized as one of Pakistan’s most trusted digital financial service providers, brings its scalable technology, extensive user base, and secure platform to the partnership. Firhaj Footwear contributes its strong retail footprint and well-established consumer brands, creating a powerful combination aimed at enhancing accessibility to modern financial tools. The collaboration underscores both companies’ commitment to driving innovation in digital finance and strengthening customer convenience.

According to representatives from both sides, the initiative is designed not only to enhance the shopping experience but also to support broader financial empowerment. By easing the purchasing process and making essential and lifestyle products more attainable, BNPL solutions can help households manage budgets more effectively without relying on traditional credit instruments. This aligns with the growing shift toward digital-first financial services and the nationwide push to expand financial inclusion.

The introduction of BNPL at the scale made possible by Firhaj Footwear’s retail presence signals a meaningful step for Pakistan’s fintech landscape. As consumers increasingly turn to digital payment channels for everyday transactions, partnerships like this demonstrate how established retail brands and fintech platforms can work together to accelerate adoption and create value. With JazzCash’s digital ecosystem connected to one of the country’s most recognizable footwear and apparel groups, customers can expect a smoother, smarter, and more flexible way to shop, both online and in stores.

The collaboration stands as a promising example of how technology-driven financial solutions can reshape retail experiences and contribute to the modernization of Pakistan’s commerce sector.
