SadaPay Strengthens its Leadership Team by Appointing Tayseer Ali as CFO

SadaPay today announced the appointment of Tayseer Ali as Chief Financial Officer. He was most recently serving as the CFO of Mobilink Microfinance Bank, the bank behind the 20 million mobile wallet accounts of JazzCash. Prior to his tenure at Mobilink, Tayseer served as the CFO of Pak China Investment Company under Chairmanship of Dr. Waqar Masood Khan, Pakistan’s former Secretary of Finance. The dynamic duo has reunited as Dr. Waqar Masood Khan is now Chairman of the Board at SadaPay.

Tayseer is amongst the youngest executives serving in the financial industry in Pakistan who took his first C-suite role at the age of 31. A Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) and a Chartered Accountant (CA) having qualified from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, Tayseer has served as chair and member of various apex committees.

“I feel privileged to be joining SadaPay as it moves into its final gear before launching commercially. I’m excited to be part of a leadership team that is focused on completely rethinking innovation in financial services and look forward to executing on the company’s priorities, accelerate growth and enhance value for all stakeholders”.
– Tayseer Ali, Chief Financial Officer

Tayseer has held finance leadership roles in alternative market funds, consultancy, microfinance banking and digital financial services, working locally and internationally. During his 3+ years at Mobilink Bank, he was integral in driving the Bank’s financial services and growth strategy with great success.

The position of CFO is surely a key role to any fintech as it focuses on ensuring both growth and sustainability. I’m convinced that Tayseer is a perfect fit and his addition to our executive team will play an immense role in helping SadaPay scale rapidly and profitably.
– Dr. Waqar Masood Khan, Chairman of the Board

Tayseer is one of the first friends I made when I began exploring the Pakistani market in 2018. The results he’s achieved at Mobilink Bank since then speak for themselves and I’ve come to know that he’s truly a results-driven leader. Tayseer’s financial acumen and experience will be a tremendous asset to our team and I am highly confident that his leadership will take SadaPay to new heights.
– Brandon Timinsky, Founder & CEO
