Kuickpay and Visa Join Forces to Revolutionize B2B Payments and Fuel SME Growth in Pakistan

Karachi, Pakistan – Kuickpay has partnered with Visa, the global leader in digital payments, to introduce a next-generation Business Payment Service Provider (BPSP) platform designed to transform B2B payment systems and unlock new growth opportunities for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Pakistan. This strategic collaboration is positioned to enhance financial efficiencies, promote digital inclusion, and address long-standing challenges within the local B2B payment ecosystem.

The partnership marks a significant milestone in Pakistan’s fintech landscape, as businesses are now equipped to digitize their vendor payments through Visa Commercial Cards. This approach enables direct payments into suppliers’ bank accounts, streamlining payment cycles and significantly reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO). In turn, businesses can better manage their liquidity while gaining operational agility in their payment processes.

Kuickpay’s BPSP platform tackles several systemic hurdles in the current B2B environment, including low vendor card acceptance, limited cash flow access, and cumbersome manual reconciliation processes. By integrating Visa’s robust global infrastructure with Kuickpay’s localized fintech solutions, the platform enhances transparency, accelerates payment timelines, and ensures real-time invoice tracking. This technology-forward approach helps businesses optimize cash flow and redirect valuable resources toward strategic growth.

According to Syed Saqib Ali, CEO of Kuickpay, the initiative is rooted in a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by Pakistani businesses. “At Kuickpay, we are committed to transforming the B2B landscape by addressing significant inefficiencies in the current financial ecosystem that hinder business growth. Having closely analyzed the local market, we’ve pinpointed key challenges in business payments, and by applying our deep expertise in digital financial solutions combined with Visa’s trusted global infrastructure, we are uniquely equipped to deliver meaningful and lasting impact,” he stated.

Visa’s role in this transformation reflects its broader commitment to supporting digitization in emerging markets. Umar S. Khan, Country Manager for Pakistan and Afghanistan at Visa, noted the relevance of this initiative amid the growing adoption of digital payment channels in the country. “According to the State Bank of Pakistan, digital payments transactions crossed the 2 billion mark in the last quarter, with its share reaching 89% in total retail payments. Despite this momentum, a large share of Pakistan’s B2B payments remains cash-based and inefficient. With Kuickpay’s BPSP platform and Visa’s infrastructure, we’re enabling businesses to digitize vendor payments and unlock working capital – helping SMEs thrive in a rapidly evolving digital economy.”

The collaboration is expected to pave the way for greater digital adoption among SMEs, which form the backbone of Pakistan’s economy. The ability to access and offer digital payments enhances not only business credibility and scalability but also fosters a culture of innovation and financial transparency.

This initiative is also in line with broader regional goals to foster digital inclusion, financial accessibility, and cross-border fintech collaboration. Kuickpay, with its growing footprint in both Pakistan and the GCC, aims to continue bridging the digital divide by offering user-centric, scalable solutions tailored to the evolving needs of enterprises.

As Pakistan accelerates toward a digital future, strategic collaborations such as that of Kuickpay and Visa are central to shaping a robust, inclusive, and efficient digital financial ecosystem.
